Rain World is a post-apocalyptic survival platform game set in a world with incessant rain and harsh conditions. The gamer takes on the role of a small, slug-like creature known as a Slugcat. The game begins with the being separated from his family and must make his way through the ruins of an abandoned industrial complex to find his way home. Gameplay is focused on exploration and survival. The gamer must navigate through levels that are full of dangerous creatures and environmental threats. Along the way, the can collect resources such as food and materials that will help him survive. The player must also avoid encounters with predators, including giant lizards.
